Is that some kind of clockwork orange?
More a "type hammer orange". Clockworks rely on gears (wheels) and springs; Typewriters on levers: Different mechanical principles.
Oh, and here I thought the playwright was typing a lemon . . . but that probably says more about me than it does about Art.
Ha! Yes, many a lemon has been formed from my own keyboard, but, no, that was an orange I set on my old Smith-Corona. :)
